The site of Cabé Bali Guesthouse is located in the heart of Eastern Bali, 300 m outside of the small village Temega, in the district Karangasem, near the Royal Bathing Pools Tirtagangga. Surrounded by paddy fields, it has an open view to all directions, the Gunung Agung volcano to the North, the Lempuyang Hill with a holy temple at its peak to the East, the distant Indian ocean with the Islands Nusa Lembongan and Nusa Penida to the South and more paddy fields to the West.
The Royal Bathing Pools Tirtagangga can be reached in a 20 minutes walk through the paddy fields. To the small town Amlapura, the Capital of the district Karangasem, it is about 12 km and to Denpasar, the Capital of Bali, 120 km.
At an altitude of 265 m above sea level, far from the tropical heat of the coastal regions, the site offers its guests the convenience and comfort they may expect.
The bungalows
Cabé Bali is a small private site consisting of only four bungalows and a main building. The bungalows are about 60 sqm. The terraces covers the overall width of the bungalows. The rooms are spacious and tastefully furnished.
The terrace covers an overal width of the bungalow. On the terrace you can also find cosy long chairs and a table. Beside the room - measuring 5 x 5 m, with double res. twin beds - there is a dressing room and a bathroom with shower and WC.
Hot water is made available by solar energy.
The Restaurant in the Balé
The restaurant is located in a Balé, a traditional Balinese open round pavilion. The bungalows are built in a tropical garden with ponds full of water lilies and lotus flowers.
Service
In the Balé or on your own bungalow terrace you may take your breakfast, while you are enjoying the scenic view of Bali’s holy mountains or the panorama of the distant blue sea. In the afternoon, coffee or tea is served with a small snack.
Dinner can be taken in the Balé. As Cabé Bali serves the dinner mainly for its residing guests, your meal preferences can be taken into consideration, that is the reason why advance order is recommended, but maybe it could be also be a very exciting experience for you to let us surprise you with an original Indonesian menu.
