Being located on a hillside provides Bayu Cottages with great views to the ocean. You can just sit at your balcony or at our open air restaurant and swimming pool... looking at the ocean and feeling the sea breeze... and when the sea is calling.... you can be there in a minute. Bayu Cottages has its private access to the beach with sparkling blue ocean water. The brilliantly coloured fish, fascinating coral and exotic sealife add a touch of adventure to your vacation in the small and charming fishing village setting of Amed - Lipah.
LOCATION
Bayu Cottages is located in Amed - Lipah bay at the north eastern tip of Bali. It is an unspoiled corner of the island of the Gods,in the shadow of mount Agung, with minor influences from tourism. A good place to relax and just enjoying being in paradise. Amed has excellent snorkeling and diving spots just off the black sandy beaches.
It is around a two-hours drive from the airport of Bali. The drive to Amed is scenic. At some points you will drive along the rice terraces where you can also see the sea and Lombok island.
You will have to stop and make some pictures!
SERVICE
As Bayu Cottages is a boutique hotel with just six rooms to serve, we are offering personal services. We clean your room daily, serve you tasty meals and we will do our best to provide in any other request from you. Our mission is to make you feel comfortable and feel like home, although it is thousands miles away from where you come from. All of our staffs speak Balinese, Indonesian, and English, plus some of us can also speak Dutch, French, and German.

OUR ROOM
All our large and spacious rooms are designed for your comfort and offer unobstructed sea view from the terraces or balconies. Completed with large windows you will not miss the ocean and the bright blue sky, even when you are in the room!
All rooms have a large private marble-tiled bathroom, with its own direct hot and cold water system. Other standard room amenities include a 21-inch colour TV with satellite channels (over 35 news, entertainment and children channels available), individually controlable air conditioning and ceiling fan, bed side reading lamps, a safety deposit box and a fire and smoke detector.
OUR RESTAURANT
After a day of diving or snorkeling you might like to enjoy a meal or just relax on the side of our pool with some drinks and snacks. Our open-air restaurant is open from 7 am to 10 pm to serve you with many choices of our menu.
In the restaurant you will be able to enjoy the ocean view while catching the sea breeze. If you are lucky you might see dolphins jumping in the sea when enjoying your meal..! Having your dinner served while watching the fullmoon would be an unforgettable moment.
Our menu offers Balinese food, Indonesian food, Chinese food and European food. If you have a special wish or have to follow a diet, just let us know.... We will arrange it for you!
OUR POOL
You can relax in the sun on one of our deckchairs in the pool area while having drinks and snacks from our open-air restaurant. The pool is a saline-pool, which has no chlorine or other chemical addition. There is also an outside shower available. The infinity edge of the pool gives you a view to the ocean while swimming!
